SKEPA was born in 1978 (France). He joined the local ‘IDK’ crew early 1990s. SKEPA is a prolific street artist, mainly covering transport wagons and city walls with graffiti and throw-up art. Due to law issues, the IDK crew ended in 1997. It was during this period that Skepa decided to create the ‘TBS’ group (The Brutal Style) with Jone Hopper and other activists.

SKEPA is still using the same tools and has the same graffiti energy he brought to his urban productions.
