The glass lists the names of every Kentucky Derby winner from Aristides (1875) to Zev (1923), a traditional feature of the official Julep glasses since 1938.
It is a popular collectible due to the tradition and historical significance.
The bottom of the glass includes the copyright "1974 HARRY M. STEVENS, INC".
Some versions of the 1974 glass are considered rare error glasses, as they incorrectly list the 1971 winner as "Canonero" instead of "Canonero II".
