Eerie Magazine #39, published in April 1972 by Warren Publishing, is a classic bimonthly horror and suspense magazine featuring 68 illustrated pages filled with terror and chilling stories. This issue introduces the new sword and sorcery series, "Dax The Warrior," alongside other gripping tales such as "The Disenfranchised," "Just Passin' Through," and "Head Shop." The magazine boasts cover art by Ken Kelly and contributions from notable artists including Auraleon, Richard Bassford, Jose M. Bea, Jaime Brocal, Dave Cockrum, and Esteban Maroto.
The back cover shows heavy staining and fading, and the front cover has some thumb smudges, but the content remains a fascinating piece of horror comic history.
